White wine from the Romantik® Hotel Zur Schwane in Volkach
Distinctly vegetal, lightly covered aroma with restrained notes of partly green citrus fruits, pears, and hard peaches, as well as floral nuances. Herbs, root vegetables, some nutmeg, and partly dried flowers, earthy undertones, present acidity, decent to good finish with saline tones.
The grapes come from several sites around the towns of Volkach and Escherndorf in Franconia. The vines grow here on pure shell limestone.
