Corvus Corax, the Latin name for the raven
The symbol of our winery Grottnerhof. Due to their ability to learn and high intelligence, ravens have long been a part of legends and myths. Sometimes depicted as negative harbingers of misfortune or as mischievous, we prefer to focus on the positive aspects of these unique birds, which have often been portrayed in literature as advisors or helpers to humans. We have chosen the black raven for our special Pinot Noir.
